Thank You
I took a little walk, through this lonely park
I wondered, it was cold and dark
I tried to conquer, this strange and savage land
But without my friends, I would have never made a stand
I took a little ride, on life's merry-go round
It threw me so hard and so far, against the stoney ground
But as I took the fall, helping hands were there
All my friends reaching out, with loving care
So just in case, you've never heard
No one has ever, ever spoken these words
I want to say now I thank you, for letting me in
I want to thank you, for being my friend
I could not have made it, so very far
Without the caring, without the love of your warm and tender heart
You took the good, good with the bad
You even made me smile, when I was so sad
So just in case, you've never heard
No one has ever, ever spoken these words
I want to say now I thank you, for letting me in
I just wanna thank you, you've been a real true friend
Now times may seem, so very hard
For all my friends, all my neighbors, both new and far
But children of the earth, we've got to hold on in faith
I assure you in the end, there's always light of day
